Why Eden will NOT be earning the Mother of the Year Award...
So this past Saturday, Elijah and I were in the back yard when he took of running and ate it on the concrete. He started GUSHING blood and we couldn't get it to stop. He never lost consciousness, but was freaking out (as was I inside!). Thankfully, Joel was home and I was not alone. We called 911 and first the firetruck got there, then an ambulence, followed by a police car. He ended up in the emergency room and got 5 stitches in his forehead. He's doing fine...we just got the stitches out this afternoon after 5 days of having them. Unfortuately, I don't think that this will be the last time he will hit his head, as this was about the 100th time in the last couple of months.

Long time, no post!
Hello Everyone! I'm sorry I have become so horrible at updating this blog. Here are a few pictures from the last month. We do not abuse our child, I swear! Since learning to walk, he has managed to injure himself on a daily basis.
This is Elijah with the bump/bruise on his forehead that has become a part of him. I really don't remember what he looks like without it. I think we will have to name it soon.
Then this happened! I really don't know how. I was right there when he fell, and I think that he must have scratched himself. It is pretty deep but seems to be healing well.
This is the face that Elijah makes when you tell him to say "Cheese!"
Elijah is mid-air as daddy plays with him before bedtime. We really know how to calm a kid down before putting him to bed.

Our family at the Memorial this year.
Shannon is due to have Max in just a few days, and I am due to have (insert boy name here) on June 28!!
Elijah loves the park, and loves wearing his cool sunglasses.
My boys :)
No need for words. He makes me smile everyday.
